94 honda accord leaks transmission oil all of a sudden?

I parked in one spot, later on, when I came out %26amp; backed out of the parking space, i noticed small pool of transmission oil(redish color liquid).

I looked underneath, %26amp; noticed drops falling between front wheels, a few inches toward the passenger side from the middle. I also noticed trail of drops coming and going to my parking space. Nobody parks in this space but me so it's definitely coming from my car.

What could cause this? What could be the problem? Is it going to cost alot of money?

I can still drive but sometimes when I press the gas, It feels %26amp; hears like the middle of floor is shaking %26amp; the car doesn't want to accelerate for few seconds. But seems to go away once I am on freeway speed. My car is automatic.

Thanks everybody.94 honda accord leaks transmission oil all of a sudden?
You might have blown a seal. That happens when you add TOO MUCH transmission oil. I know because my best Budd's girl added some transmission oil without asking (thinking she's doing him a favor).

You need to go see a transmission specialist. Don't bother going to the dealer. They just farm out the transmission work and add another 10% before charging you.94 honda accord leaks transmission oil all of a sudden?
hopefully it is just an axle shaft seal leaking it probably can be fixed for less than $150.00 but that shaking is probably from low fluid if you keep driving it like that and it won,t take long at all you will buy a trans which starts at least 10 times that much
Had similar prob some time ago with a civic. It might cost you around 200 dollars depending of what caused it. Be sure to take it to a mechanic as soon as possible. If liquid dries up, it may cause you far more to fix it.

It is hard to say, till the mechanic opens it and finds out. You may end up paying just $50. If you are new customer to them, you might pay even less.
I use to be an Automotive Technician. 1st. Check the Transmission Oil with the engine running, Is this Vehicle an Automatic? I would then check the Power Steering Fluid with the Engine running as well. It's possible that you may have a Power Steering unit leaking and or Power Steering Hose. If Low on either, Don't drive at all !!!!! It will cause even more Serious Problems!!!!!
thats cuz its a honda
