Where is the transmission oil pan and filter on a 2002 Hyunadi Elantra?

The oil pan is on the transmission, the filter may not be replaceable.

If you don't know what a tranny oil pan looks like you probably don't have a clue how to fill a transmission with ATF or what problems you will have if you don't use the correct ATF. You don't want to do this yourself!!Where is the transmission oil pan and filter on a 2002 Hyunadi Elantra?

Where to add transmission oil on a 2003 Passat?

Does anyone know where the transmission fluid filler cap is located on a 2003 Passat?Where to add transmission oil on a 2003 Passat?
NO filler cap I own a VW and it is a closed system. Is the trans giving you a problem? I'd take it to a dealer for an oil change once in a while and let them look it over. They check things that the normal quick oil change people don't. They can tell you if you have a problem with leaks.Where to add transmission oil on a 2003 Passat?
There's a filler bung on the side of the pan. Oil must be added by a specialist. Unless there is an obvious leak, it won't be something you'll need to worry about. If the trans leaks, go to an independent Automatic Transmission Repair Specialist for advice. The VW Dealer will probably send it to them anyway!
I own Audi A4 (same power train as the Passat).

We do not have a dipstick and it is not ';topped'; off. It is sealed.

The factory originally said that the oil is good for the life of the tranny. Then after all the failure, they revised that the life of the tranny is 100K miles.

WHAT !!! Translation - change the oil before 100K miles. It cannot be dome by you.

Good Luck...
You do NOT add fluid do the transmission. What makes you think it needs it???? It probably doesn't even have a filler cap.
DON'T TRY TO CHANGE THE TRANS. OIL. LET A PROFESSIONAL DO IT. that is unless you are a mechaniac

Washing machine Transmission oil leaked and got on my clothes, how do I get my whites white again?

Long story short, the transmission is starting to go bad in my washer. Every few loads, it shoots out oil/grease and it gets on the clothes. I got it out of most of my colors by using Zout, but the whites don't want to cooperate. These are our work shirts and my kids school clothes so they need to look good. What can I do to get my whites back to being white? Any and all help is much appreciated! :-)Washing machine Transmission oil leaked and got on my clothes, how do I get my whites white again?
the problem is by the time you get them white a shot of transmission (?) fluid will zap them again. Is there any way you can clean those shirts by spraying the stains with a stain remover and let them sit and then hand wash them and drip dry them on a plastic pipe above your bathroom tub? They should dry in less than 24 hours (and won't set the stain) and you MUST have a fan going in there so nothing molds.

Just Tide in good clean water usually removes any stains my clothes get.

Depending on what year Dakota and which engine, Rockauto.com might have a good enough description of the Auto Trans Oil Cooler Hoses (under Cooling System) to make choices.

Does a transmission oil cooler significantly affect engine cooling when installed in front of radiator?

Installing on a 2009 Subaru Forester.Does a transmission oil cooler significantly affect engine cooling when installed in front of radiator?
If your Subaru didn't come with a transmission cooler, you do not need one. Unless you put some other type of transmission in it or constantly tow heavy objects.

If the car came with one, it obviously will not significantly affect engine cooler. Most car manufacturers place the transmission oil cooler in front of the radiator.Does a transmission oil cooler significantly affect engine cooling when installed in front of radiator?
