Any reputable brand name is fine . Mercon is the type of fluid. DO NOT USE Type F, Type A or ';Trans fluid';(?)

Most brands will call it Dexron III / Mercon. Some brands might called ';domestic vehicle ATF or Multi-vehicle ATF';
dextron/mercon III or IV but it really dont matter it will fail eventually its a ford
