cost depends on what exactly you have done. a simple drain and refill will take about 5 qts of dex 3, which is about 4 bucks a qt. then the labor charge. the next step would be a drain, drop the pan, clean, then replace the filter/gasket, and refill. so add the cost of the trans filter kit. in both situations, only about half the fluid is changed, the rest stays in the torque converter. an actual flush, where a machine is hooked up to the transmission, and it power flushes it, would cost a lot more, but would do a much better job of changing out the fluid, because it would also get the fluid out of the torque converter. depending on which trans you have, total is either 8.5 or 7.8 us qts for complete flush and refill. leaving the fluid in there for a long time will kill the transmission. i change ours out yearly
do a transmission flush, it should not be over 200 dollars, you tranny will last longer
