I got a 1978 chevy G20, i need to know where i pour the engine and transmission oil, where are the openings at

the engine is so compacted, and nothing is marked engine oil, or transmission oil, so i really dont know where to pour the oil! and which is which, if anyone knows this van please help.I got a 1978 chevy G20, i need to know where i pour the engine and transmission oil, where are the openings at
Front of the engine has a tube with a small push in rubber plug to fill the oil.

And you fill the trans where you check it.I got a 1978 chevy G20, i need to know where i pour the engine and transmission oil, where are the openings at
the engine oil is filled by a hole in the valve cover on a van it should have a extision coming up to eye site above all of the junk. the cap is a twist on/ off like the rad cap. dont forget to check the oil level first. 1. Motor Oil

Engine off , pull out the dipstick clean it, put it back in and pull it out then check the level. it is marked for its level

2 Tranny Oil

Engine running, warm, IN PARK, pull dipstick out , clean it a few times before reading the level. You'll know tranny oil it's redish in color (red when new) To fill the tranny use funnel directly in dipstick tube slowly pour oil in , little at at time keep checking the level Do Not over fill, if this happens leve the dipstick partly out Very little just to relive pressure, then take to a shop to have it looked at.

In 78 things were simple under the hood there is not to much to get confused.
go to advance auto or o reilly or other parts store. they will help you. Really!
Standing in front of the van with the hood open - on your left side - to the rear U will C a lever or hook that U pull out %26amp; will B the size of your little finger---THATS transmission fluid -- On the right side looking @ the rear of the van like U did 2 get 2 the trans fluid --U will C a Rubber plug the size of a silver dollar - IT should just pull off - thats the engine Oil ! I sure hopes its a van - because thats what what a G is.
