How much would a tune up and transmission oil change cost?

On a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis with 32,354 miles V8 engine.

ThanksHow much would a tune up and transmission oil change cost?
A friend has a car, same as yours, and, they were told, that they didn't need a tune up, till 100 thousand miles. As for the transmission oil change, they did have that done, but, now, they wish, they hadn't, cause, now, the transmission, has all kinds of problems, as well as it slips, also. It was fine, before, the transmission oil change. No problems, what so ever. So, if your transmission, is actually working fine, I wouldn't worry about it, for now. If a problem, should arise, deal with it, then. But, if you want the tune up, and, the transmission oil change, your best bet, would be to check out several different places, and get their prices, and, go from there. But, I wouldn't worry about it, if it is working, the way it should. Same goes for the tune up. You shouldn't need one, till 100 thousand miles. It should be good till then. When things start to be messed with, when, in all realality, everything is working well, that is when the trouble starts. Like the transmission problems. How much would a tune up and transmission oil change cost?
Your best bet is to call around to a few local shops. An oil change should be around $20-30 and a transmission flush can be a little costly at times depending on the type of transmission. This is due to the diffifculty of getting to the filter. Some filters cant even be changed. But you should be able to get both done for less than $100
I dont think you need a tune up on the 4.6 V8 untill 100,000 miles.

The transmission takes 17 quarts of fluid if it is flushed, about 10 if not.

However, you should do the proper thing and take the car to a place like AAMCO, and have them flush it out properly and change the filter for like $90 bucks, maybe a little more.

Proper maintanance, and the car will last a while.

Good Luck!
the plugs on those are kinda of a pain and prob not even supposed to be changed until at least 60 k your looking at about 80 to 100 for a good tranny service with a flush not just a filter change.the motor tune up should be checking things out like air filter belts and fluid levals
depends on what shop you call i wouldnt mess with the transmission yet maybe 100,000 miles an dshouldnt need anything but spark plugs which anyone can replace but if you must just cal three shops and ask how much
my mechanic does the oil change for 29.99 that covers just about all fluids and even rotates the tires.
my mechanic only charges bout $55 for both. the shop a lil more.
