What is the best transmission oil to use in '94 Montero SR?

right now i use the recomended tranny oil and the tranny overheats while off roading and heavy driving conditions. a friend recomended using lucas. Vehicle is not a daily driver mostly a weekend/longdistance/offroad recreation vehicle.

being synthetic it reduces trans temps quite a bit, also use a good size coolerWhat is the best transmission oil to use in '94 Montero SR?
