When do you have to change the transmission oil on a bmw 528i year 2000?

the car has 175,000 km on it and i have never changed it yetWhen do you have to change the transmission oil on a bmw 528i year 2000?
The BMW automatic transmissions use a ';permanent'; type automatic transmission fluid, (ATF). Unless your owner's manual says otherwise, you should change the ATF at 100,000 mile intervals; (161,000 Km) or at 10 year intervals, which ever comes first. The ';permanent'; type ATF is very expensive, but if you plan to keep the car for several more years, it should be done now and again at 325,000 Km.When do you have to change the transmission oil on a bmw 528i year 2000?
The 2000 528i uses a ';lifetime fill'; transmission fluid by Esso called LT 71141. It is roughly $28 per litre from your BMW dealership.

Although the manual and transmission pan itself indicates the fluid should never be changed, BMW has changed this recommendation on newer vehicles to 100,000 miles. Many discussion boards recommend an even shorter interval of 60,000 miles. The filter should be replaced as well. NEVER buy an aftermarket filter for your transmission or you WILL have strange noises and performance issues. Always buy the filter and o-ring from a BMW dealership and make sure it is stamped with ';FILTRAN'; on the casing. The fluid can be purchased much cheaper from a VW dealership. Just ask for the Lifetime Transmission fluid for a 2002 Jetta Auto.
I would ask a question on the following site
